About

The Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) was a career-oriented educational institution affiliated with Boston University. It provided hands-on training in various digital arts fields, including digital filmmaking, photography, 3D animation, graphic and web design, and audio production. CDIA offered certificate programs that typically lasted two terms (nine months) and were available in both full-time and part-time formats. CDIA operated campuses in Waltham, Massachusetts; Washington, D.C.; and Atlanta, Georgia. The institution focused on equipping students with practical skills to pursue careers in digital arts. Its primary audience included students seeking to start new careers as well as seasoned professionals looking to enhance their skills. CDIA was closed in 2014 after Boston University ended its support for the program.
