The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) is the national trade association for the roofing industry in Canada. Established in 1958 and based in Ottawa, the CRCA represents over 300 members, including roofing contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers. The organization plays a vital role in advocating for the interests of its members and providing guidance on technical, regulatory, and business matters. CRCA offers a range of services, including technical expertise, industry collaboration, and professional development initiatives. It develops nationally recognized roofing manuals and best practice resources, such as the Roofing Project Submittal and Protocol Guidelines, which are available for free download. The association also produces instructional roofing installation videos to assist contractors across Canada. The CRCA is governed by a Board and includes various committees focused on technical standards and workforce solutions. The organization hosts an Annual Conference and AGM, with the next event scheduled for May 2026 in Quebec City.
