About

The Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) is a national non-profit organization established in 1954. It represents reproductive specialists and allied health professionals involved in assisted reproduction across Canada. Originally founded as The Canadian Society for the Study of Fertility, it merged with The Canadian Andrology Society in 1982 to form the CFAS. The CFAS is dedicated to advancing reproductive science and medicine through leadership, research, and guidance. It has over 1,000 members, including physicians, nurses, andrologists, and other professionals from various fields. The organization offers educational programs, research support, and clinical guidance, including the development of practice guidelines and certification programs. It also maintains active Special Interest Groups that focus on diverse topics within reproductive health. The CFAS hosts an annual meeting, with the next one scheduled for April 2025 in Toronto.
