BennuBio, Inc. was a biotechnology company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 2018. The company specialized in innovative flow cytometry technology for advanced cell analysis. It developed patented acoustic cellular positioning technology, which allowed for significant improvements in sample recovery, particle size handling, and analytical rates, achieving speeds of up to 200,000 cells per second while preserving cell viability. The flagship product, Velocyt™, is a high-throughput cell analysis system designed for single-cell and 3D multicellular spheroid analysis. It supports various applications in cell biology, drug discovery, and precision diagnostics. BennuBio also focused on research tools for life sciences, including sample preparation, cell imaging, and lab automation. In October 2025, BennuBio was acquired by Precision Cell Systems, which aims to integrate its technology into advanced 3D cell culture workflows.
