American Scientific Affiliation
About
The American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) is a nonprofit organization established in 1941, bringing together Christian scientists, engineers, and scholars. Its mission is to integrate science with Christian faith through dialogue, scholarship, education, and service. ASA promotes a respectful exchange of ideas on science and Scripture, supporting diverse perspectives such as progressive creationism and theistic evolution. With a membership exceeding 1,500, ASA engages in various activities, including publishing the journal *Perspectives on Science and Christian Faith*, which discusses topics at the intersection of science and faith. The organization hosts annual meetings and initiatives like the ASA Legacy Campaign to enhance science-faith dialogue. Under the leadership of President Janel Curry and Board Chair Michael Everest, ASA continues to foster community and support for those in the natural and social sciences.
