TechTalent Accelerator consists of two distinct initiatives aimed at addressing the tech talent needs in Canada and Connecticut.
The Canadian TechTalent Accelerator is a collaborative training program between Toronto Metropolitan University and CompTIA. It focuses on developing industry-ready talent for Canada’s technology sector through tailored training programs that align with employer needs. The program is currently being restructured and will provide updates via its mailing list.
The Connecticut Tech Talent Accelerator is a state-funded initiative led by the New England Board of Higher Education and CBIA. It aims to fill tech talent gaps through partnerships between academia and industry. The program offers academic pathways across multiple higher education institutions and workforce training for up to 300 students each semester. It also emphasizes diversity by encouraging participation from underrepresented groups.
