Sparkbird is a research and development lab under WZMH Architects, established in 2017. The lab focuses on pioneering smart building technologies to enhance construction efficiency and sustainability. One of its key innovations is the Intelligent Structural Panel (ISP), a prefabricated floor system that integrates low-voltage wiring for lighting, HVAC, and security. This innovation aims to reduce construction timelines and waste while promoting smart building solutions, including IoT integration and modular construction.

The lab has collaborated with a major technology company to advance the development of the ISP, receiving significant investment for this initiative. Sparkbird is dedicated to exploring new technologies that can transform the architecture and construction industry.
