Merit Apprenticeship Alliance is a multi-employer apprenticeship program sponsor established in 2007. It focuses on providing apprenticeship solutions for open-shop contractors in the construction industry, primarily in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The programs are approved by the New York and New Jersey Departments of Labor, as well as the U.S. Department of Labor.

The Alliance manages apprenticeship programs and compliance for its member contractors. Their services include training in various trades such as Carpentry, Operating Engineer, Craft Laborer, Ironworker, and Cement Finisher/Mason. They also ensure that contractors meet apprenticeship requirements for public works projects and provide qualified apprentices for employment with member firms. The Alliance supports over 125 open-shop contractors in enhancing their workforce skills.
