We are Obby Khan and Ali Esmail: Winnipeggers, small-business owners and creators of GoodLocal who saw our fellow makers and merchants struggling to connect with their local customers amid the 2020 global pandemic. We heard stories about product spoiling and sitting, unable to reach buyers, and we wanted to help.

We started GoodLocal to make it easy for local buyers and sellers to reach each other, because we believe that a thriving community of growers, makers and merchants is the heartbeat of any great city.
