Emerging Health Leaders – Vancouver is a local branch of a not-for-profit organization founded in 2006. It focuses on enhancing the leadership skills of early-career professionals in the Canadian health sector. With active nodes in several cities, including Edmonton, Calgary, Hamilton, and Toronto, EHL connects new health professionals across the country.
The organization supports health professionals at various career stages by providing access to networking, mentorship, and educational opportunities. EHL hosts networking events, mentorship programs, and educational seminars, fostering dialogue on national health issues. It collaborates with the Canadian College of Health Leaders to strengthen healthcare leadership in Canada and create a community of aspiring health leaders.
Emerging Health Leaders primarily serves young and emerging health professionals, as well as health employers in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. Members benefit from a national network, leadership development programs, and opportunities for knowledge exchange on health leadership challenges.
