The fitness industry is shifting: gone (or at least dwindling) are the days of no-pain-no-gain body building workouts, and in are the days of movement patterning exercise programs. It’s not just about muscles; it’s about function, injury and disease prevention, and helping people be the strongest versions of themselves.
The Fortis Forma mission is to create an engaging environment to help Fitness Coaches further their education, from both a hard skills technical standpoint and soft skills client centered approach. Knowing a movement exists is different from knowing how a movement should look, which is also different from coaching a client through a movement properly to ensure they understand and get the most out of it. If the latter is accomplished, this will help people be the strongest movers they can be.
