Obesity is a global epidemic. Worldwide obesity has tripled since 1975. Today, more than 2.1 billion adults, 18 years or older, are overweight. Of these, more than 650 million have obesity. The U.S. rate of obesity stands at 41.9%.

The problem with obesity is that there are too many people who don’t know what to do to prevent, treat or manage the chronic condition and too few doctors and therapists to treat it right. Thousands of obesity experts and therapists need training in best clinical practices and need to scale if they want to stay productive and competitive.
