

SCAN Health, also known as the Supply Chain Advancement Network in Health, is a Canadian non-profit organization focused on improving healthcare supply chains worldwide. Hosted by the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business, SCAN Health operates as an International Knowledge Translation Platform. Established with funding from the Government of Canada’s Networks of Centres of Excellence, the organization aims to enhance care delivery by reimagining clinical supply chain processes.
The mission of SCAN Health is to accelerate knowledge translation and address strategic challenges in health systems. Its services include facilitating the exchange of information on best practices, conducting research, and publishing case studies to strengthen health supply chain resilience. SCAN Health also fosters collaboration among industry, healthcare, government, and academia, and provides educational resources such as presentations and podcasts. Dr. Anne Snowdon serves as the Scientific Director and CEO, leading efforts to improve healthcare supply chains, especially in response to crises like COVID-19.
