The First Nations Major Projects Coalition (FNMPC) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting First Nations’ involvement in major natural resource and infrastructure projects across Canada. Established by and for First Nations, the coalition includes over 170 communities, councils, and development corporations. FNMPC offers a range of no-cost services to its members, including capacity-building support for environmental impact assessments and financial modeling. The organization provides guidance on securing ownership stakes in projects and facilitates dialogue between First Nations, industry, and government to align initiatives with Indigenous rights. FNMPC also hosts events like the Critical Mineral Roundtables and its annual conference to foster partnerships and share best practices.
